Thanks for writing about this. It's amazing how the beauty of giving can often be overshadowed by the guilt of 'tithing'. I've been reprimanded for giving ten percent to a hungry single mom instead of my 'church' and it's always confused me how the 'storehouse' references in scripture have been twisted and manipulated into a very specific formula of giving that ensures church facilities are well funded...I am challenged by your thoughts and relieved by them.
